Marrow 02:22
Falsity lives deep in my bones. No rest for the ungrateful, and deceit is all I know. Breathe me in, and watch me piss away my life, like the sand in an hourglass. Falling into old habits again. I'm slipping back to my old self again. Pulling teeth just to get me to admit that I have a problem. I let it win. I'm embedded in a useless skeleton. I'm indebted to a soul that can't change.
2.
I saw my face distort in the mirror again. Losing myself in a familiar haze, reaching out to break through, but I'm already too far gone. I thought I'd know you when the darkness passed. I thought I'd know you when I could make sense of your expression. I knew you then, but I don't know you now.
3.
Casket 01:17
Disintegrating within your embrace, I'll watch the sun. Entomb my infatuation, sheathed in oak, we'll watch the sun as it dies. I want to pass in your arms so I never have to say goodbye. I hope there's room in my casket for you and me.
